True to their name, the Prometheus Duo gave the audience a listening experience to remember. As their acute blending of piano and saxophone produced such an unbelievably rich and resonant sound, it made it hard to know where one instrument ended and the other began. Alternating the lead, the duo presented a variety of selections, from Gershwin to Edvard Grieg. Pushing and at times teasing his keyboard to its limits, Marko Stuparevic paired smoothly with Joseph Abad, whose energetic slide up and down the full range of his sax, added a certain personality to the sweet compliment of his play. While "unique" may be an overused word, it certainly applies to this talented pair.
The crowd loved them, not just their performance. They are tremendously talented, and after wowing the audience, were very personable in interacting and responding to comments and the peoples' questions.

We certainly did, Joseph and Marko - enjoy your performance, that is! What a delightful program, with an enchanted audience to appreciate it.
Several members stopped me on the way out to give you kudos. Thanks so much for joining our series this year, and all best in this season and beyond!

This was the first time that the Duo, featuring pianist Marko Stuparevic and saxophonist Joseph Abad, had appeared in the series, and our committee was very pleased with both the content of the program and the audience’s response.
The very enjoyable evening included commentary about the Duo’s unique pairing of piano and wind instruments. The informative and personable presentation by the performers drew on classical and new music to edify and entertain the audience members.
This concert promised something different, and it drew in people who were looking for just that.
The Prometheus Duo received standing ovations as a mark of the audience’s appreciation.
Your performance was simply superb. Your artistry was impressive, and your musical selections were sophisticated yet accessible. Your articulate introductions to each piece set the scene well. You heard the sustained applause during the concert; unfortunately, you haven't been able to hear the many comments I've received since then, expressing pleasure and appreciation that you were here.
Thank you for creating a terrific occasion. You certainly were a hit!
